This year's popular CCA Councillor Development Weekend is taking place on 18th - 19th November at Hampshire Court Hotel. More information can be found on the 'Venue' tab.

Attendees can enjoy a packed programme full of sessions focused on improving your skills in your important role as both a Conservative councillor and a campaigner. The event is a fantastic way to get to know your group and as such, many of our members have attended with group colleagues as a team building away day. With this is mind, we offer a very generous group booking discount.

All CCA Members are welcome to attend and it will be beneficial for those looking to broaden their ideas, learn more and engage effectively with residents. There will be sessions relevant to those both in control and opposition; speakers will include councillors and Party staff all of whom have a wealth of campaigning and local government experience.

Attendees will be able to book one-to-one advice sessions with CCHQ's Head of the Lib Dem unit. Also, the Conservative Environment Network will be joining us throughout the weekend to chat with members about their environmental campaigns. Furthermore, we will be offering dedicated sessions for our Candidate Members; numerous council candidates have attended the Cllr Development Weekend in the past and have found it hugely beneficial in terms of preparing them for life as a councillor.

There are a variety of booking options listed on the Booking Form tab. The popular all-inclusive CCA Member Full Package includes access to the whole training weekend, accommodation at Hampshire Court Hotel, drinks reception and three-course dinner, lunches and refreshments breaks. This pass costs just £125. Day pass options start from just £25. You can book quickly and easily online via the Booking Form tab using a PayPal account or debit/credit card. Passes are heavily subsidised by the CCA.

For those wishing to attend as a group, we offer a reduced rate based on a minimum of 3 group members (including council candidates who are CCA Members) in attendance. This booking option is available via the online Booking Form.
